The morning. Let’s do the Mekong Delta Private Day Tour. Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Ben Tre. An unforgettable way of seeing the Mekong Delta is to drive along the provincial roads in the Southern region of Vietnam through rice paddy fields, orchards and small hamlets.
Mekong Delta Private Day Tour
After your arrival to Ben Tre city, a local motor boat will take you on a cruise along the Bến Tre River to discover local activities. We will stop to see how people make bricks then go trekking in the fruit garden.
We will continue our boat ride to Cai Sơn and Nhơn Thạnh creeks to see how mats are produced. You will be able to enjoy the Mekong Delta’s incredible agriculture by going through rice fields and vegetable gardens on a motor-cart.
From there, the boat will take you to the local village to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop and taste some pastries and candies of different flavors. You will also be able to drink natural honey tea and wine at a bee farm.
In the afternoon, a rowing boat carries you into the canals of the Mekong Delta in a peaceful and relaxing cruise to enjoy the beautiful scenery, with coconut palm trees covering the canal. You will have a special lunch with regional specialties such as elephant ear fish, shrimp cooked with coconut milk, banana flower…
After the meal, we will float along the Cai Coi creek and then transfer to the bus. Our car will take you back to Ho Chi Minh City.

We visited the Mekong Delta and the floating market, we had a very good experience with our tour guide, who speaks English fluently, is very dynamic and we had a great time together.

I had a wonderful trip through S Vietnam and the Mekong Delta thanks to Luco Travel. I was taken on a tour of the amazing Cu Chi Tunnel complex NW of Ho Chi Minh City, home to hundreds of Vietcong soldiers and their families during the war. I then spent a few days travelling south to the Mekong Delta, where I visited the main Cao Dai Temple and observed one of their services, and spent a relaxing time in Can Tho, taking a boat ride along the Mekong river and seeing the local markets. All in all, it was a truly memorable experience made even more enjoyable by the good humour and knowledgeable explanations by my guide Louis Bui.

We took a tour to Mekong Delta with this company and it was so enjoyable and educational, so after that we finished the tour we book two tours more 🙂

My mom and me had a fun and interesting trip with Luong as our tour guide. He is the best tour guide, friendly, knowledgeable and speaks good English. You’ll never get bored with him as your tour guide.

I had a Mekong delta trip with Louis. It was an awesome and fanstatic trip because I have learned alot from him from the stories he shared with us, which you definitely could not find from books or internet. He did share alot of his experiences and information along the trip. Importantly, he was a friendly yet humorous tour guide, patiently and seriously to explain all the places. The most amazing sharing from him was about the bees farm. The chemistry was there so I quite enjoyed the interaction and conversation with him and some stories about Saigon.

We visisted Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, our guide was experimented, had a lot of energy, very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time and we love Vietnam ! We surely take another tour with this company on our next trip there. Great !
