Explore Bat Trang Ceramic & Dong Ky Carpentry Villages

The morning, You will be waiting at the lobby of your hotel, and then our tour guide and driver will pick you up, after that drive to Bat Trang Village – the famous village is situated approx 15km outside of Hanoi, surrounded by fertile farmland. Watch the artisans forming, painting and glazing their products, which are then baked for several days in huge kilns.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

After your lunch time and enjoy the short break, keep going to Dong Ky Village – the famous traditional wood carving village. Dong Ky was at one time known as the ‘firecracker village’. Prior to 1995 (when the Government banned fire crackers) there was always a firecracker festival in Dong Ky. A competition for the loudest firecracker once resulted in the building of a gargantuan 16m long firecracker.

At the village, you will have a chance to see carpenters forming, carving and polishing wood products, making decorated pictures by snail, oyster shells.

After that, our car will drop you off at the hotel. End of service!
