The morning. 08:00am, let’s go Private 3 Days Mekong Delta Tour – 4 Isles – FLoating Market – Tra Su Sanctuary – Sa Dec Town. Our car and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel, on the way to Mekong Delta you can enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.

 We will arrive at My Tho Town – the closest of the Delta’s hubs to Ho Chi Minh city, which is the perfect springboard for day tours of the surrounding tributaries and islands. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. With a population of around 16,000, there is always activity to match the natural beauty.

Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh, a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals.

Have a cycling tour, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy and observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages.

Early in the morning,  we will depart to visit the biggest local floating market still in the Mekong Delta – Cai Rang floating market to learn more about the local life of water people. Then wander around the noodle factory and meet the friendly local people and experience how to pass a “Monkey bridge” which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden.

After that, you will transfer to Long Xuyen. Have a visit at “Long Xuyen crocodile farm”, you will get an awesome sight on this farm with various  shapes of crocodile. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Long Xuyen with a local specialty: crocodile meat.

Afterwards, proceed to Chau Doc, and pay a visit to Tra Su Sanctuary, a green spot to see the wild birds Sanctuary and Cajuput plantation. Cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds.

Back to the town and check-in the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out, depart from the hotel for a boat trip through the floating village and visit the fish farm to see how the Mekong Delta people raise fish from their floating houses. Visit the Cham minority in their traditional weaving village.

After that, transfer to Sa Dec city. Visit the interesting Sa Dec Flower Village and the colorful old house of Huynh Thuy Le which was mentioned in the famous novel “L’Amant” (the Lover) by Marguerite Duras.

Have lunch on our way back to Ho Chi Minh city.  Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Drop you off at your hotel.
