The morning: 8:00am. Let's do the Mekong Delta Private Day Tour. Our car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Ben Tre. An unforgettable way of seeing the Mekong Delta is to drive along the provincial roads in the Southern region of Vietnam through rice paddy fields, orchards and small hamlets.
Mekong Delta Private Day Tour
After your arrival to Ben Tre city, a local motor boat will take you on a cruise along the Bến Tre River to discover local activities. We will stop to see how people make bricks then go trekking in the fruit garden. We will continue our boat ride to Cai Sơn and Nhơn Thạnh creeks to see how mats are produced. You will be able to enjoy the Mekong Delta’s incredible agriculture by going through rice fields and vegetable gardens on a motor-cart.
From there, the boat will take you to the local village to visit a handmade coconut candy workshop and taste some pastries and candies of different flavors. You will also be able to drink natural honey tea and wine at a bee farm.
In the afternoon, a rowing boat carries you into the canals of the Mekong Delta in a peaceful and relaxing cruise to enjoy the beautiful scenery, with coconut palm trees covering the canal. You will have a special lunch with regional specialties such as elephant ear fish, shrimp cooked with coconut milk, banana flower…
After the meal, we will float along the Cai Coi creek and then transfer to the bus. Our car will take you back to Ho Chi Minh City.
