We had Louis for a 3 day tour of Saigon, We ate street food, drank great coffee, saw the sights of the city, Mekong Delta and Cu Chi tunnels, we laughed and joked our way around and enjoyed the sights but also his company. Thank you.
My daughter and I have had the best couple of days with Louis of Luco Travel. We were whizzed on Day 1 to the Mekong Delta, and the Cai Be floating markets, cycled around Tan Phong island then on day 2 to the very sobering Cu Chi tunnels. Fascinating. But best of all was Louis’s fabulous insight, knowledge and cheeky sense of humour. A must do, ‘go to’ guide if you want to get away from the masses and see and learn about the real Vietnam. Thanks Louis for a great time and your top tips on where to go in Ho Chi Minh city! It’s been a blast. Emma & Paula
We were two families – total of 9 persons with 5 children age 10-17 who booked Luco Travel to take us to the Mekong Delta and Cu Chi Tunnels on two day trips while staying in Ho Chi Minh.
The Mekong Delta tour was perfect in every way: we visited small craft shops and saw how straw mats, coconut candy and brigs for houses were made – all by hand. Nowhere were we expected to buy anything which was a new and pleasant experience to all of us. We tried various tropical fruits like jackfruit, longan and rambutan as well as fresh coconut and delicious coconut candy. We sailed down the river by three different boats for the right amount of time and had a wonderful local lunch. Of course we met other tourists but nowhere was it over crowded. Not even at the restaurant as there were several small dining areas. It was absolutely one of the best guided tours I have ever participated in. Stops at clean restrooms were made during the day which is greatly appreciated even though my family lives in Asia and has traveled to many places and are not picky at all.
The tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels was also very interesting. Our guide gave us a brief overview of Vietnam history and it was interesting to hear about the Vietnam War – in Vietnam called the American War – from a Vietnamese point of view. To actually see the real tunnels, enter some of them and learning how they were used during the war was interesting and scary at the same time. No wonder so many soldiers were traumatized after returning home.
I would highly recommend Luco Travel and definitely use them on another trip to Vietnam.
It was our last day in Vietnam and we were treated to a personal tour of the Cu Chi tunnels with Louis as our guide. He was extremely friendly and helpful from the minute we were picked up from our hotel.
We spent the morning exploring the tunnels and learning more about the history and the war in Vietnam. Louis was a lot of fun to be around and made our last tour a memorable one. Thank you Louis…we would definitely come and see you again when we return to Vietnam.
Had an amazing time on both the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta tours. Lots of great explanations of all the sights and some good humour too. Out tour guide kept the bus rides interesting and discussed points of interest along the way. Very well organized and everything ran on time and on budget with no hidden costs or high pressure shopping that sometimes can happen with other tour companies. Had a great time and definitely recommend.
Had a fantastic time in Vietnam visiting the Cu Chi tunnels. Very informative, friendly and fun. 110% recommended by me👌
thanks for all. it was the best travel I had ever made.

I have been very busy lately, and I don’t time to write down my thoughts on this journey. Now I will review it.
As soon as the plane landed that day, the tour guide Louis was already waiting for us at the airport. We arrived in Ho Chi Minh City at 9pm local time, but he did not show any fatigue, but instead greeted us with his kind smile and took us by coach to the hotel.
During one part of the whole journey, we went to dinner on a river in Ho Chi Minh City. There was a band performing for us on the boat and thr were able to sing in the language of tourists. It was really sincere.
Then we went to visit the Cu Chi tunnel, which is a famous historical and cultural heritage in Vietnam. Getting the guide ’s care and clear explanation along the way gave me a better understanding of Vietnam ’s wartime history.
Throughout the journey, I would like to thank Louis in particular. We would never have had such a satisfying experience without him. He is willing to listen to our opinions, take the guest as the center, and then make itinerary for us. If you want to buy something, you want to go anywhere, even happy hour, as long as he can do it, he will take you. I think this time I met not only a good tour guide, but also a good friend on the other side of the earth. I am looking forward to the next journey with him!
