HUE - HOI AN MOTORCYCLE HCM TRAIL - 3 DAYS
From historical Hue City travel north along the coast to former DMZ, up to mountainous area of Vietnam - Laos border and drive south along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail to My Son ruins and finish in Hoi An, this 600 km ride thru one of the most stunning parts of Vietnam gives you more feeling than you may think of.
Cruise thru vestiges of former war sites whose name stuck to the 20th century’s bloody Vietnam War to see and learn how things happened and how magical the time work.
Let the wind whispers in your ear and your eyes filled with magnificent views. Ride our way thru some most stunning landscapes off from beaten tracks, reveal hidden charms of the land, meet friendly locals and learn about their typical culture and tradition that have been practiced for hundreds of years.
DAY 1: HUE - KHE SANH (-/L/D)
Depart Hue at 7.30 for our ride northwards along Highway 1 to Quang Tri, the place knew as the most severe part of the country during the war. Visit to the Quang Tri Citadel where in 1972 a fierce battle raged for 81 days that took away life of more than 20 thousands young men from both sides.
Ride further north crossing the former DMZ to visit Vinh Moc Tunnels, one of the two famous tunnel systems in the country during the war where locals used for living, hiding and fighting.
Lunch near to Doc Mieu Base and ride our way crossing famous American war sites Camp Carol and Rock Pile along the Highway 9 westward to Khe Sanh near Laos border. The road condition is pretty good, landscape is spectacular and along the way you will have some stops for photos and to visit to local hill tribe villages.
Arrive Khe Sanh in the late afternoon, check in hotel and enjoy your time to explore around this little town.

DAY 2: KHE SANH TO PRAO VIA A LUOI ( B/L/D )
After breakfast, start our adventure day with visit to Khe Sanh combat base, Ta Con Airbase and the Khe Sanh museum to learn more about historical event and the land.
Drive along spectacular landscape along the Ho Chi Minh trail and visit to a montagnard village of Pa Co people near Ta Rut then make our way thru mountain landscapes to A Luoi where we will have a break for lunch.
Just close to Laos border and home to some minority groups including Ta Oi, Van Kieu, Co Tu…, this area was one of important sites on the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the war and was made famous with names such as Mommy Pass, Blood Stream, A Shau valley and Hamburger Hill.
After lunch, travel for another 100 km to Prao, a little town of Dong Giang mountain district in Quang Nam Province for our second night.

DAY 3: PRAO TO HOI AN (B/L/-)
Start your day with a 50 km ride along the Ho Chi Minh Highway from Prao to Thanh My where you will take a left turn down to Dai Loc area, taking country road and cross a river to to My Son for a discovery of this Cham ruins.
After lunch we drive for another more than 40 km to Hoi An.
Get to Hoi An around 4.00PM. Trip finishes.
