Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role during the American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its network of tunnels, which extend over 220km, and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.
The fighters of Cu Chi took the war underground by developing a network of tunnels that stretched as far as Cambodia, which included: meeting rooms, kitchens and ventilation systems. These tunnels served as an effective network for engaging in guerilla warfare against U.S troops.
Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels which display the loyalty and creativity of Viet Cong Soldiers during the struggle for Vietnam independence. This guided tour brings you to one of the most remarkable attractions in South of Vietnam. Started early from the lobby of your hotel or specific place, your tour guides pick you up then drive straight to the Cu Chi Tunnels.
This connecting underground system took nearly 25 years to be built and it included everything needed for the life of local inhabitants: command center, meeting rooms, kitchens, hospitals, factories, weapon storage and much more! On this historic tour you get to spend a day walking and exploring this broad underground network that was buzzing in the past with ten thousands of commandos.
You will have a chance to learn how these soldiers incredibly survived while hiding themselves undetected by Americans through many years, also their fine technique for controlling smoke while cooking. Get ready to crawl inside an allocation of 121 kilometers long of the numerous and complex layered tunnels! Surprisingly, this locus is totally different from the modern appearance of Vietnam nowadays. After learning interactive lessons about the Vietnam’s guerilla, you have a delicious family-style lunch with many Southern traditional foods while you can also enjoy the peaceful rural atmosphere here.

The morning at 08:00 or afternoon 13:00, our tour guide will come to your hotel and pick you up, departing for Cu Chi Tunnels. Visitors will arrive Cu Chi tunnels after a drive of 1,5 hours. Our tour guide will give you an overview of Cu Chi and its legendary history.
Cu Chi Tunnels
A documentary film about the tunnels will explain you about the tunnel's histories and how fierce the war was in the area. You will be guided to the tunnels system including the weapon factory, hospitals, kitchens and crawl under the tunnels…..
After that travelers can try delicious manioc which was the main food for guerilla-warriors in Cu Chi during the war. Visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or MK16 or machine guns at the nearby shooting range. (on request and under control by Vietnamese Army, allow above 18 years old)
Leave the Cu Chi Tunnels and back Sai Gon, on the way back we will drop you off at War Remnants Museum or Ben Thanh Market (on request). End of your trip.
Note: If you take the morning tour, our car will drop you off at 13:30 at the hotel, for the afternoon tour at 18:30 at the hotel. Prepair some snacks whenever you feel hungry.
